Made of solid mixed woods the chest is fitted with narrow long drawers and has decorative hand forged metal ware and handles. The top is fitted with a lift up lid and one of the drawers has a hidden mechanism which locks it closed. A rare piece, not often found with a carrying stand. Superbly aged patina.
