I don't know why they love these... but my dogs will all prefer to chew one of these than any other toy. I bought these for a litter of puppies who were teething and they were a hit with all the dogs. Now they are small so keep that in mind. I thought they would be larger but my Golden Retrievers prefer small toys but these are little dog sized which is fine here but may not be for other larger dogs.
