We live in the desert so with the constant sun exposure, our family needs a reliable sunscreen that is affordable, effective and gentle on skin. This product does all that. It has no fragrance and we've had no skin reactions or irritation. It does leave a white cast, which is to be expected given the active ingredients. This is my go to sunblock for my kids. It's mineral so there's obviously a white cast. I don't mind it for kids because I like seeing where I have applied so I don't miss any spots. I've never had a sunburn while using this and I'm not the best about promptly reapplying. The cream is a good thickness and softness. Not so thick and gooey that you hate the feel of it. It doesn't have a terrible smell but just like a standard mineral sunscreen smell. Does require a decent amount of washing/ gentle scrubbing to get it to come off the skin.
