The double swirl element has two small pegs that you pull apart gently to open and pinch back in to place to close. The shirt is nice. My son is 6' and 220 lbs. It fits him perfectly. This will be baggy on a thin guy. This is perfect for someone who is thick. I am very disappointed it doesn't have a pocket. My son specifically wanted a pocket. The pic shows a pocket! Yes the fine print in the description says no pocket, but isn't that what pics are for so I don't have to read the 1000 word description?
