It is similar to a muslin but an acid wash treatment turns it into a papery fabric that doesnt fray making it great for sculptural garments, screens, or for applique and other crafts. These ink cartridges work well. I have an epson workforce pro WF-4730 printer and these ink cartridges work perfect in it and save me a lot of money. I suggest you shake the cartridge first before installing them then perform a nozzle cleaning and check afterwards. I've never had one fail. The colors are accurate and the ink dries quickly. I especially like the large capacity of the cartridges. I like to have a full set on hand so I don't run out, but they last a long time.
