Mike Press Wines Single Vineyard Adelaide Hills Merlot 2018This Merlot has a beautiful earthy character on the nose, with soft berry fruits on the palate to compliment. The four varieties grown by Mike Press are well suited to the Adelaide Hills climate, and merlot performs particularly well. Good depth and hue to the colour of a solidly structured, medium bodied merlot with plum and a touch of snow pea lurking in the background. The tannins have been very well handled, underwriting the medium term cellaring
