I wasn't sure about these, but have had good luck with other HEYDUDE shoes. So I ordered these. True to size. I'm pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable and cute. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really wanted to love these, but the fit was off, and the sole is extremely squishy, which on a platform shoe was nearly a disaster. I wear an 8.5/9 in all my shoes. I got a size 9, and they were far too big. I also have wide feet and the straps still had excess room between the strap and the tops of my feet. I tried the shoes on, took a few steps, and the sole was so squishy it felt like I was falling. If I had a size 8, instead of 9, maybe that would not have happened. I ended up returning, but wish the fit was better as these are super cute shoes
