A switch on the side of the control unit allows you to switch between auto mode (automatic linkage type) and manual mode (user operation type). The control unit can be incorporated into the dedicated base included with the kit. Requires four AA batteries, not included.

It didn't last long, but my pups loved it! I have a 4 month old and an 8 month old puppy and they LOVE too play. They also love to fight over toys. This was the perfect you for them. They kept each other busy playing tug of war with it for hours at a time. After maybe a week they managed to top the ropes out, but the food is still intact, although they're less interested in it now. I'll probably buy them another one since they lived it so much.

This is a nice toy but is not aggressive pug proof....

My little alpha female pug mix ripped this frog apart in about 3 weeks during supervised tugging with me. We've been sewing the head back together as the stuffing gets scattered but I'm afraid we'll have to put Mr. Frog down in a few weeks. This toy has a squeaky and a crinkle sound that make it interesting for the dog but it is not indestructible. She really likes this toy and I'll probably buy another one. Just wish I got more than a few months out of the purchase.
