Zum Herbst hin verfrbt sich das Laub dann in ein strahlendes rot. Der standort sollte sonnig bis halbschattig und geschtzt sein und der Boden sollte gut durchlssig und nhrstoffreich sein. Sein Wuchs ist schwach aber schn kompakt. Besonders in Einzelstellung ist er ein Blickfang in jedem Garten.
