Solid writing with not-many editorial issues (rare these days so overall, that’s a thumbs up). Lots of links that take you to other pages, but in both a kindle and the kindle iOS app, you won’t find a way back to the original page, which is infuriating. Nice, fresh look at Carthage. It can be a touch dry and in some places hard to read but worth the effort. Most histories of Carthage start and stop with the Punic Wars, this is a much more expansive look at Carthaginian and Phoenician history. Given its scope I would have expected a much larger book but Carthage was destroyed and along with it, so too was its history.
